CLIENT is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be a part of the Corporate Accounting team. The Senior Financial Analyst will have a strong understanding of financial processes within a large multinational corporate environment, strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated analytical skills, and be able to work independently. The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Manager, Corporate Accounting and work closely with members of corporate and business management and the companys executive team.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for month end close activities including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
Assist in preparation of quarterly reporting package for Corporate ledger including detailed analysis of assigned caption lines.
Management of G/L system including account maintenance, system parameters, month/annual close procedures and reconciliation to consolidation system.
Assist and/or lead assigned projects to increase efficiency of department procedures and processes.
Participate in annual budget process including consolidation and analysis of Corporate departments and importing to G/L and consolidation system.
Ad-hoc analysis of department expenditures and results as requested.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelors degree in Business (finance or accounting), CPA a plus
Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant corporate and/or industry experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment are essential
Strong analytical skills and business/financial acumen
Attention to detail, with high standards of accuracy and review
