We are looking for a full-time Banquet Manager who will be an integral part of the events operation, providing leadership, customer service, and creating memories for our members and guests.
Reporting to the Catering & Events Manager, this role will supervise the banquet functions for the Club and assist the Catering Director during large functions and internal events.
The position is perfect for someone who is both creative and organized, with room to grow.

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies, and Expectations -Able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays -Knowledge of different serving styles -Understanding of table etiquette and table set-up, both formal and informal settings -Must have good communications skills and a dynamic, outgoing personality -Good organizational and follow-through skills -Excellent customer service -Leadership skills Tasks -Works with Food and Beverage Managers and the Banquet Chef to coordinate all details for private functions -Together with the Catering & Events Manager, coordinates and supervises catered events based on client specifications -Supervises and directs banquet staff during all phases of a catered event -Hires, trains, and evaluates banquet team -Reviews and executes banquet event orders -Ensures that best practices and standards are met in delivering service to members and guests -Interacts with banquet host/hostess to ensure all needs are being met -Inspects completed room arrangements; present to oversee the actual service and greeting of guests for all events -Develops detailed side work, timeline, and assignments for staff for each event -Holds pre-function meetings with Front of House staff to ensure smooth, efficient service -Makes suggestions and develops improvements in banquet service procedures and layout -Ensures that all appropriate charges are billed correctly to each event and forwarded to the Accounting Department -Acts as a supervisor for club parties and a la carte dining when needed -Willing to work any position in the Club to assure top-level Member experience and other tasks as needed Benefits Dental, Heath, and Vision Insurance Paid time off and Sick days Employee Meal 401(k) matching Holiday Bonus Education and Experience High school graduate or equivalent Previous fine dining and banquet experience Must be at least 21 years old Job Type:
