Facilities Manager - Technical M.E.P. Knowledge
About the role The purpose of this position is to lead multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus or portfolio of buildingsWhat you'll do Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients Attend client meetingsCoordinate, oversee and/or lead repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping and janitorial work Review work orders to ensure that assignments are completed Responsible for facilities inspections and reportsCoordinate and lead moves, adds and change activitiesObtain and review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects Manage capital projectsPrepare capital project and operating budget and variance reports Manage vendor relationships and train vendors on work order and billing procedures Responsible for invoice processing and accuracy of cost center coding Provide process and procedure training Conduct financial/business analysis including preparation of reports Coordinate, oversee and/or run repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping and janitorial work What you'll need High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Technical, mechanical, electrical, plumbing working knowledge and understanding Minimum of four years of related experience and/or training Associates degree or Bachelors degree preferred with focus on business, technical or management areas Prior supervisory experience preferred Facility Management certification preferred Driver's license is required Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the futureWhy CBRE?
