Senior Accountant
Ceridian go-live will help with data mining in payroll and potentially some other activities within Cash and Payroll.
Responsibilities:
Under the general direction of the Accounting Services Tower Lead, the responsibilities include:
Effectively and efficiently process assigned accounting transactions within process framework, including but not limited to:
o Journal entry processing
o Balance sheet reconciliations
o Intercompany balancing and reconciliation
o Intercompany invoicing
o Cross-Border accounting
Communicate and enforce policy and procedure to key stakeholders, including Business Units and Function Finance
Ensure all policy and statutory requirements are met
Implement continuous improvement opportunities in the end-to-end accounting processes
Minimum Qualifications
BS/BA Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 2-4 years of Accounting/Finance experience
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Strong technical skills with proficiency in Excel
Possess critical thinking skills, quantitative and analytical problem solving skills
Payroll operations or Accounting would be the most important thing to have experience in other than that Ceridian, ADP exp
Exp in SAP - the General Leger module - SAP FI or Financial
Will be located in Glenview but has possibility of moving to the Client center downtown in October
